The Pilgrim's mass is celebrated daily at 12.00 o'clock. During the Holy years increases the number of masses of the Pilgrim, due to the large influx of pilgrimage. Those who wish to have seated site should arrive early, as this mass is always very crowded and no reserved seats.

At the start of the mass, and as a special welcome, reads a list of pilgrims arrived in Santiago that have passed through the Pilgrim's Office in the last 24 hours, citing points from the start of his pilgrimage and nationalities or provinces where they come from.

Masses in the greater Altar of the Cathedral

Working days: 9,30h (Mass choir, sung by the canons of the Cathedral; the mass begins with lauds)- 12,00 – 18,00 (only saturdays or a day preceding a holiday) and 19,30 h.

Sundays and public holidays: 10,00 – 12,00 – 13,15 -18,00 y 19,30 h
